Amizmiz Valley & a family lunch

A full day stepping out of Marrakech and into the rhythms of the High Atlas. We pick you up in the Medina, share breakfast on the road, walk the shore of Lake Assif El Mal, eat at the home of the Ait Ben Rahhou family, and visit a women's cooperative. Every dirham flows directly to the cooperative.

Daily itinerary

1. 08:00

   Pickup at the Medina

   We meet you at your riad and head south toward Amizmiz.

2. 09:30

   Breakfast at Lalla Takerkoust

   Msemen, amlou, mint tea — overlooking the lake.

3. 11:00

   Walk along Lake Assif El Mal

   A slow walk along the turquoise shoreline.

4. 13:00

   Lunch with the Ait Ben Rahhou family

   A homemade tagine, fresh bread, stories around the table.

5. 15:00

   Visit a women's cooperative

   Argan, weaving, and the economy that quietly sustains the valley.

6. 16:30

   Tea & pastries with the family

   A pause before the road home.

7. 18:30

   Return to Marrakech

   Drop-off at your riad.
